Texting your Equated bookkeeper

Business owners who use Equated can text their bookkeeper about their books. A phone is only connected when its owner texts a one-time code from their own Equated account. We never buy, rent, or upload phone numbers.

How you opt in

  1. Sign in to Equated at app.equated.co and open Settings → Bookkeeper.
  2. Open the Text tab. It shows our number, a one-time code unique to your account, and the notice below.
  3. Scan the QR code or text the code from the phone you want connected.
  4. We reply once to confirm. From then on your bookkeeper can text you about your books.

The code is the confirmation. It works once, and only for the account that generated it, so a number is never connected unless its owner texts the code.

What we send

Messages about your books: questions about transactions we cannot place, requests for missing receipts or invoices, and replies to the messages you send. We do not send marketing.

  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply HELP for help, or email hello@equated.co.
  • Reply STOP to opt out at any time. We confirm once and send nothing more. You can also disconnect your number in Settings → Bookkeeper.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
